From November 19 through December 23, the Downtown Market in Grand Rapids transforms into a magical European-style Christmas village — the Christkindl Markt invites visitors to stroll under festive lights, browse more than 60 artisan stalls full of handmade gifts, and enjoy traditional holiday treats, live music, and family-friendly activities. 

Expect warming beverages like mulled Glühwein, hot cocoa and cider served in collectible mugs, Alpine-style foods like raclette sandwiches, sweets such as waffles and caramelized nuts — and a cozy atmosphere that captures the spirit of old-world Christmas markets.
